Ashmit Pal is a young and aspiring piano and flute performer from Milton, Ontario (Canada).  He has been playing piano since he was 4 years old.  He loves to try out various other musical instruments and loves to perform in front of audiences. He regularly participates in many music festivals around the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and received many awards, scholarships and multiple provincial nominations. He is currently pursuing ARCT Diploma in piano performance under the guidance of Dr. Chris Foley, Melodie Hewer and Wendy Seravalle-Smith.

Ashmit won the Royal Conservatory of Music Provincial Gold Medal in 2017 and 2019 for his Piano examination. He also won the Royal Conservatory of Music Provincial and the National Gold Medal for his Flute examination in 2022 and 2023. 

Ashmit won Bronze in International Piano and Violin competition and was honored to be selected to perform in the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York city in 2022.

Apart from his academic and music studies, Ashmit is also teaching piano (part time) in Ontario Consrvatory of Music in Milton.

Ashmit feels that music has a magical power to unite people across the world despite all of our differences and inspire us to live in peace and harmony. Music is the universal language to spread our joy, our feelings and emotions. Music can make this world a better place to live.
